LOCATION
Cave castle is a grade 2 listed building.
Built in 1804 for Henry Boldero-Barnard on church hill, situated right next to a medieval church, cave castle is a gothic revival style building.
There was an earlier house on the site (East Hall Manor), parts of which were incorporated into the current house.
Lewyns Boldero-Barnard purchased the Cave Castle Estate (then called East Hall Manor) in the mid-18th century.
His son, Henry Boldero-Barnard, rebuilt the House in the early 19th century.
Cave castle boasts magnificent exterior as well as matching interior designs.
It is with no doubt that cave castle has its own ghost stories including a ghostly hand print in a mirror that randomly appears as well as haunted rooms, according to some visiting guests.
Visiting Parascension at cave castle will be an experience you will not forget, staying the night is a dream come true.
